Geraldine Menez has been instructing for GMI since 2012. Her experience in bodywork includes extensive training in yoga, Tibetan Cranial Therapy (Thoba Khujatab), meditation and medical qigong. She has been teaching different forms of bodywork for over 15 years; she specializes in soft-tissue rehabilitation of sports injuries and emphasizes self-care throughout her instruction. She currently practices bodywork and teaches medical qigong in Verbier, Switzerland. She speaks fluent French, English and Spanish.
Guest instructor DD Dorvillier has been teaching movement and creating dance works in New York City since 1989. As a certified instructor of SRT Ms. Dorvillier has taught nationally and internationally, as well as offering workshops in Performance, Composition, and Improvisation. Other areas of study include Hatha Yoga, Martial Arts, Voice, Butoh, and Integrative Massage.
Guest instructor Ken Nelson Ph.D., L.M.T. is an exceptional educator with more than 25 years experience. He is also a certified Kripalu Yoga teacher and healing arts therapist in the Kripalu, Ohashi-Masunaga and Thai traditions.
Michael Jamieson is the director of GMI. He has over thirty years of experience in bodywork and counseling, and has been teaching massage for over twenty five years. His expertise ranges from musculoskeletal anatomy to the energetic systems and emotional holding patterns of the body.
