Integrative Bodywork is the foundation of the Green Mountain Institute of Integrative Therapy.
Contemplative Education combines traditional academics, experiential learning, and contemplative practice to inspire critical thinking, the acquisition of new skills, and unprecedented self-awareness.
GMI was founded by Judith and Michael Jamieson, a husband and wife team with thirty years experience in bodywork and counseling. In 1993, after repeated requests to train others, they founded the Green Mountain Institute with the vision of creating a learning environment in which people can change and grow. GMI offers its students opportunities to explore the deeper levels of their selves, and understand how they live and move in their bodies.

Today, the importance of making connections between mind, body and emotions is becoming culturally omnipresent. But at GMI, it’s a founding principle of our school - not only a central pillar of our education, but also a way of life we believe can be taught and explored.
