The Portugal Massage Therapy Training Program
Next 3 month Program Begins Jan 31 , 2009
In Part One, you will learn a full-body massage and basic musculo-skeletal anatomy. Attention will be paid to grounding, centering, the quality of touch and the body-mind connection. In addition to learning the basic massage strokes, we will work with movement, breath, sound and energetic and emotional release techniques. You will give and receive sessions from fellow students.
In Parts Two and Three, advanced massage strokes and different bodywork modalities will be taught, as well as techniques for specific situations. You will receive personalized supervision to improve and fine tune your massage. Attention will be paid to the quality of your contact, precision of technique, your body mechanics and the sense of flow - the 'dance' of your massage.
Accommodation is in shared apartments, a short walk from a spectacular beach. Although this workshop is intensive, there will be time to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and explore this part of Portugal.
