Introductory Training Weekend in Integrative Bodywork

This workshop is an introduction to Integrative Bodywork for those considering professional training in massage or for those interested in massage for their personal use.. Integrative Bodywork addresses and integrates the physical, energetic and emotional levels. It is noted for being simultaneously deeply relaxing and truly invigorating. The essence of this type of bodywork lies in the ability of the practitioner to be centered and remain truly present. We will focus on the quality of touch and the ability to be fully present. In addition to learning basic massage strokes we will work with movement, breath, and experiential techniques. In order to give each student the attention and time they need this training will be limited to no more than 6 students. This allows a highly personalized approach providing the teachers with an opportunity to teach each student according to how they learn best.

Weekends and 5 day trainings

Throughout the year training and experiential weekends are offered in Vermont, Portugal and England. Recent workshop topics have included energetic approaches to bodywork, biodynamic massage, Skinner Releasing Technique, Thai/Shiatsu and approaches to balancing the cranial sacral system. Courses for experienced body workers and for students, as well as workshops open to all, are offered.
